Bars, Shadows

The world around us takes form by the interplay of light and darkness. When a luminous source shines upon an object, it casts a dark shape. This phenomenon is known as casting shadows, and prison it's responsible for the dramatic interplay we see between the light and dark. Bars, owing to their structure, often create unique shadows that can be quite intriguing.

The angle of the illuminating ray has a significant impact on the shape and size of the shadows cast. As the light shifts, bars will cast shadows that change dramatically.

Stone Walls, Concrete Dreams

The world beyond/past/outside the razor wire is a strange/unfamiliar/alien place. Many long/intensely/years of confinement can make it hard/difficult/challenging to adjust/adapt/acclimate to the shifting/dynamic/ever-changing tides of ordinary/everyday/normal life. Simple/Mundane/Everyday tasks like crossing/walking/traveling a street or interacting/communicating/talking to a stranger can feel overwhelming/daunting/intimidating. Still/However/Yet, there are ways/methods/strategies to rebuild/reintegrate/reconstruct your life and find/discover/locate peace/tranquility/contentment in the world beyond/past/outside the wire.

Resounds in the Cell Block

The steel walls held the sounds of a hundred lives lived. Each rattle of a chain, every deep footstep on the concrete floor, told a story. Stories of regret, of despair, all overlapping in a symphony of grief. Even in the silence, one could feel the weight of their past.

What We Sacrifice
